KornSpace is shutting down
It was announced today that korn fan site KornSpace is shutting down after years of service. They've been the #1 fan site for thousands of Korn fans and have kept us updated on the happenings of the band since SYOTOS times. It's going to be sad to see it go. You can read about it here.

Jonathan Davis drops out of Twins of Evil tour
Jonathan Davis announced on Twitter and Facebook that he's had to cancel his tour dates on the Rob Zombie/ Marilyn Manson Twins of Evil tour this October, due to medical reasons. He's said his doctor will not allow him to tour due to exhaustion from eight weeks of straight touring.

New Sex-Art book being made, and hopefully a DVD and CD coming soon as well!
Dennis Shinn of Sex Art, pre-korn band that Jonathan Davis sang in, is putting together a digital book about Sex Art, hopefully ready for release before the end of the year. He is also hoping that this will get fans riled up for the DVD that was put on hold, and Dennis is looking to possibly release a CD of all of Sex Art's known material.

July 6th, 2012: The night my dreams came true.
Briefly, here is what happened.
I went to the Junkyard anyway even though I couldn't get in. I heard the entire show from outside. At 1am, my mom and I parked out back near Jonathan's car. There, I met Beth, a friend from KornSpace who also knows Jonathan well, and her friend Christine. We waited for Jonathan along with a few other people. He finally came out around 1:30 and after Beth said hi I asked for a photo and he said 'sure!' We leaned in and he put his arm around my shoulder and I got this photo to last a lifetime:
I can't even describe that moment; it is written on my face. This is my hero, and after four years of waiting I finally got to meet him, and he was even kinder than I thought. I then asked him to sign my Kerrang! pullout and he gave me his special "P" smiley :D
He then went and signed everyone else's stuff, WITH MY SHARPIE!!! So glad I brought it :)
I then asked Beth if we could get a photo together with Jonathan, which we did:
After that he had to leave, and we all waved goodbye.
I'll tell you, Jonathan is the sweetest, most kindhearted person I've ever met. He really seemed happy to be there and appreciated us coming out and waiting for him at this small venue. He made my dreams come true. I never expected the first time I met him would be this perfect. There was no rush, no crowd, just us and him, and I could never have asked or even imagined anything better.
He may call himself J Devil, but he's just an angel dressed in black <3

J Devil show- just maybe
(this is the third time I am writing this so you get the quick version)
I went down to the Junkyard with my mom and met the manager. He's really nice and the place is cooler on the inside. He felt bad and told me he would do what he could to get me in, but it's Jonathan's promoter who decides. He was meeting with him after we left, coincidentally. I saw the stage and it is TINY, like 10 x 15 with no backstage and no room for equipment. I don't know how jumpy J Devil will be able to get when there's only a few feet of room! But whoever is going, take advantage of the opportunity to be only a few feet away from JD. So anyway, the manager took my number and told me he'd call when his meeting is over. When he called at 8:30 he said unfortunately he couldn't change it, but he will make sure he gets JD back to the Junkyard next year for me. AWWW THANK YOU! And he was really sincere, which I appreciate. I take back the 'rinky-dink' comment I made before, the place looks a ton better on the inside than outside. Anyway, I asked as a last request if maybe he could get me a meeting with JD, just if he sees him hanging around, chilling, doing rehearsals, just so I can say hi or get a photo and tell him how much I wished I could have come to the show. He said he'll try, it might be possible, he doesn't know when they are coming to set up but that he'd keep my number and if call me if he gets any info.
I am going to the place anyway to look for JD because who knows, maybe I could watch him rehearse or catch him outside before or after the show.
I can only try, right? ;)

J Devil at the Junkyard: A glimmer of Hope

So, after calling the Junkyard to ask in detail about the age restriction, I find out that although it is 18+, the manager recently changed a show to all ages at the last minute. This means obviously that he couldn't sell all the tickets in time. If I can convince him that it would be in his best interest to change it this time, I'll be able to go. I know not all the tickets have been sold. It's at 135 right now, most of which were sold last week. It'll be a challenge. I've been planning what to say all today. I'll make sure he knows the advantages of allowing teens in, not only for this show, but reminding him I have a lot of influence on the internet, and also all my friends are turning 18 this year. And the disadvantages of leaving me with a bad impression of the Junkyard... yeah, I'll go there. I could make sure no one I know online or in real life ever goes there.
This really means a lot to me. Everything I've dreamed of. Seeing JD, practically outside my door. Just having the opportunity to gaze upon him for real. I just hope it'll work. It has to. I don't give up. This is the one thing I will fight for to the end. Beg for me. Please.

J Devil @ Nashua NH's 'The Junkyard' July 6th
I already ranted about this on several other blogs, so I won't on this.
J Devil is coming to a tiny club 10 minutes from my house and the 18+ age restriction is really bringing me down. The fact that somehow JD was brought so close, literally in the middle of nothing exciting, by pure chance, it's unbelievable. I don't know how his people found this rinky-dink nightclub out of all the worthwhile venues to perform at... Now, he is coming and I can't go see him because I'm only 17.

I am drowning in my misery over here. The chance that somehow I'll be able to get in is nearly zero. Unless their place is set up to have the bar separate from the stage, I'm just not legal.

Jonathan Davis on Criss Angel's 'Uncensored' Webcast
New Korn Kollection updates
I added my new merchandise to the kollection page, finally. I had my wisdom teeth out today, but I feel really good so I was able to get on and do some stuff.
Also, please do not think the Photos page and Who Is Korn? page are done. I would really like to sit down and write a full bio of the band for that page, and I am waiting on some SYOTOS photos from a friend to continue with the chronological upload of group photos. I have so many recent ones, plus I'll have separate categories for each member. I have too many photos of JD not to give him his own section :D

I JUST MET KORN!!!!!
Yeah so I went down to the Hampton Beach Casino today on the off-chance
Korn might be hanging around outside. I brought my TALITM Skrapbook and
my camera and wasn't expecting much. But literally five minutes after I
got there Munky and Fieldy came out of their tour buses and I got photos
with both of them and autographs. Then Jon quietly slipped out of his
tour bus and into the venue. I got two photos of him there. But then
Fieldy and Munky came out a few more times and after that it was a while
before anything else happened. Then Jon came out again and went back
into his bus, where I snapped the best shot of the night, one great
closeup of him- he had his head down all the time so it was really hard
to get any photos but I got that one!!! Then after about half an hour he
popped back out as J Devil!!! I was literally the only one outside
because they had started letting people into the show. I filmed him
coming out!!!Anyway then Ray finally came out and I got
his autograph and then J Devil's show started and my parents forced me
to leave as I yelled to the venue "Jonathan don't let them take me
away!!!"
This was the best night of my life. I got to meet all the members of Korn, get pictures and autographs for free. A show would have been great but if I had to choose this was a million times better than any show. I really do hope Korn continues to come back to NH because in one year I can finally go alone to a show! Thank you Korn for making my dream come true :)
